Group Directors David Goodchild and Mark Bunting have recently completed the annual British Legion London to Paris cycling event covering 285 miles in four days. They were invited by Lloyds TSB to be part of their 21 man team which also included cyclists from the Co-operative Bank, Harrods Bank, developers, accountants and solicitors. It was the second largest team in the event and raised in excess of £40,000 for the British Legion which supports ex servicemen and women and their families. David and Mark raised over £5,000 between them.

A total of around 300 people took part in the cycle ride which Mark described “as a great four days with happy memories and many new friends”. He added: “the British Legion does a great job for servicemen and women and we hope this will help a little in terms of their ever-growing funding requirements”.
