New Offices Opened By Mayor Of Chesham
09/10/2008
A new development of small freehold offices in Asheridge Road, Chesham has been opened by the Mayor of Chesham, Mrs Alison Pirouet.
The nine freehold office units, known as Esprit, have been specifically designed by the developers, Visao Ltd of St Albans, for small businesses seeking to buy their own premises. The offices range in size from 510- 1,115 sq ft (47.4m²-103.6m²) with prices commencing at just £150,000. The high specification units are fully air-conditioned with their own private entrances and allocated parking.
Two units are already under offer, to a local business and a newcomer to the area and, according to joint agent Ian Archer of Aitchison Raffety, interest in the scheme is strong. “It is quite rare to find freehold offices of this size. Despite the current economic climate many small businesses and consultants are keen to purchase their own premises which they can hold in SIPPs. The smallest office available would be suitable for 1-4 people and the largest could accommodate up to 10-12. Commercial mortgages are still available to applicants with a trading history and good accounts. Indeed in many cases it is proving cheaper to buy here than rent in similarly fitted out premises.”

Pictured at the opening are the Mayor of Chesham Alison Pirouet, David Nisbet (centre) of Source Finance Ltd, the purchaser of the first unit sold, and Innes Gray of developers Visao Ltd.
